The SN Story

While our firm’s roots date back to 1918, Stambaugh Ness was officially formed in 1996 after the merger of two firms: Harry Ness & Co. and Stambaugh Dorgan & Company. At that time the firm provided services for a wide range of industries within the local market.

A Niche is Born

Born from the experiences with our first engineering client, we identified a gap between AEC firms and their service providers. As a result, we created an industry niche focused on architecture and engineering.

Stambaugh Ness continued to invest in and build out an AEC practice, gradually elevating and expanding our service offerings specifically tailored to architects, engineers, and contractors. Part of this new adventure included targeted acquisitions, critical industry relationships, and a strategic partnership with Deltek as a software reseller.

As a result, our client base grew from local to regional to national, positioning SN as the go-to professional services provider for the AEC industry.
